Host Jeffrey Rupp interviews Dr. Melissa Moore, professor of marketing and co-chair of the Centennial Celebration Committee, who shares information about our upcoming Centennial Celebration weekend in November, including the Centennial Gala on Friday, November 13th! She also touches on the reasoning behind our 100th Anniversary branding initiative-- We Mean BUSINESS.
We also speak with another marketing professor, Dr. Joel Collier, about the importance of giving students hands-on marketing experiences in the classroom before going out into the business world. He shares an example of one of his upper-level marketing courses, where students compete in teams to create a marketing initiative for an actual business client that best suits their needs.
