COB Dividends Show - October 2018 Recap

The Dividends Show is a monthly program dedicated to bringing you all the latest news and information from Mississippi State University's College of Business. Each episode will give you an inside look at the College's programs and events, history, faculty, students, and alumni.

In this month's episode, Dividends Show host Jeffrey Rupp speaks with Associate Professor of Management James Vardaman. Dr. Vardaman talks about MSU's Center of Family Enterprise Research, which is ranked #1 in the world for research on family businesses. The Center looks at applied problems such as venture creation, developing and starting new businesses, and looking at personal issues and unique dynamics within a family-owned business. The Center has plans to launch their Family Business Education Initiative the summer of 2019. The Initiative's goal is to help small businesses throughout the state grow and develop their business on a larger scale.
