The Bulldog Business Show - May 15, 2025

In this episode of The Bulldog Business Show, host Aundrea Self, Director of Outreach and Engagement at the College of Business, takes us inside one of the most immersive learning experiences offered at Mississippi State: the Live Case Course in marketing.

This semester, undergraduate and graduate students collaborated with international olive oil brand Terra Delyssa to tackle real business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing challenges. With guidance from faculty members Emily Stokes and Dr. Myles Landers, students conducted extensive primary and secondary research, traveled to Tunisia over spring break to tour the company's facilities, and culminated the project with a two-hour professional presentation to company executives - including Terra Delyssa's US and Tunisia leadership.

Joining the show is Emily Stokes, who shares how the course breaks away from traditional classroom learning, allowing students to "live in the gray" and think like real consultants. Later, Nada Rashida, Marketing Manager for CHO America (Terra Delyssa's parent company), offers her perspective on the partnership - praising the students' creativity, data-driven insights, and powerful understanding on how to connect with younger consumers through social media and strategy.

Tune in to discover how Mississippi State's College of Business is turning classrooms into boardrooms - and preparing students to solve real-world challenges with confidence and purpose.
