In this month's episode, Dividends Show host Jeffrey Rupp speaks with Dr. Tom Miller, Professor of Finance and holder of the Jack R. Lee Endowed Chair in Financial Institutions and Consumer Finance. A well-known expert in the field of consumer finance and the small-dollar loan landscape, Miller was called to testify before the U.S. House Financial Services Subcommittee earlier this year regarding his research! Dr. Miller shares with us a little about how small-dollar loan markets work and how best to restructure regulation to improve borrower welfare.
We also speak with international business student Feifei Zeng, who was recently selected as a Campus Ambassador for Harvard University's 2016 Intercollegiate Business Convention, an event which brings together collegiate and young professional women from all over the world to gain valuable business and leadership skills. This is the first time that a team of well-rounded students from MSU's College of Business will be participating in this globally recognized event to learn from some of the most successful women in business while increasing the visibility of Mississippi State.
