Demand for supply chain and logistics talent has never been greater. Some studies have suggested that for every ONE (1) qualified supply chain/logistics professional, there are as many as SIX (6) to NINE (9) available jobs. There are also many different types of supply chain and logistics jobs in areas such as:

  • Procurement and Purchasing
  • Transportation
  • Warehousing and Distribution
  • Manufacturing
  • Project Management
  • Process Improvement (Lean, 6 Sigma, TOC)
  • Analysis & Consulting
  • Information Technology

And much, much more!

Beginning Fall 2021, Mississippi State University students can better prepare for these and other related careers via the new Supply Chain Logistics major.

  • Want to learn more about this exciting new major?
