Check-in at Barnes & Noble at MSU; Volunteer locations vary

Mississippi State's Maroon Volunteer Center is hosting the university's annual Service DAWGS Day! The event is an annual day of service that engages hundreds of students and community members in community engagement and service activities within the local community. Students and volunteers will arrive at the Barnes & Noble at MSU bookstore (75 B.S. Hood Drive on the Starkville campus) for a brief orientation and light breakfast before heading out to more than 30 community partner locations where they will work together to perform 2.5 hours of community service. Breakfast, lunch, transportation and a T-shirt will be provided for free. MSU students, faculty and staff can register online at www.mvc.msstate.edu/blog/register-10th-annual-service-dawgs-day. Those who are not affiliated with MSU are welcome to participate and are asked to email volunteer@saffairs.msstate.edu to register.
