The Bulldog Business Show - February 15, 2026

In this episode of The Bulldog Business Show, we spotlight how the Mississippi State University College of Business is supporting entrepreneurs, small businesses, and veterans across the region.

We kick things off with Business Bites, including details about Startup Summit 2026—the college’s premier business plan competition with tracks for college students, Mississippi-based startups, and high school innovators—as well as updates on upcoming Club 1915 alumni events in Nashville, Dallas, and Biloxi.

Mary Graham from the Small Business Development Center joins us to explain how her team helps entrepreneurs at every stage—from shaping business plans and financial projections to registering LLCs and finding storefront locations. She also shares how students can access advising directly through the E-Center.

Next, we welcome Mark Scott, Director of the MSU Veterans Business Outreach Center, who discusses how MSU is helping veterans and military spouses explore entrepreneurship through programs like Boots to Business and Revenue Readiness. From training and counseling to success stories and pitch competition winners, Mark highlights the resources available to service members across Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana—all at no cost.
