Research interests:
My research focuses on how finance and entrepreneurship theories inform each other. In particular, I am interested in how and why investment and institutional theory explain entrepreneurial action and venture funding. I apply these in entrepreneurial finance, family business, and entrepreneurship on the margins (undocumented migrants, informal entrepreneurs, marginalized populations).
