Accelerating Students into the Accounting Profession (ASAP) is a fun-filled and interactive three-day summer camp designed for rising high school seniors to create an interest in accounting and provide an overview of the various career opportunities within the accounting profession. Campers will be housed in a campus residence hall and get a glimpse of what college is like as a "Bulldog" at Mississippi State University!
The participants will attend instructional seminars focused on enhancing professional development and success, developing team-building/leadership skills, and gaining a new perspective of the accounting profession. In addition, they will hear from accounting professionals and take a field trip to see accounting in real life environments. The cost of ASAP Camp is $150, which will cover room & board, meals, field trip, and workshop supplies.

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Current high school junior (senior for the 2025/2026 school year)
- 24 or higher on the ACT (composite or superscore)
- 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
- Follow the appropriate application requirements
- Two written essays and two letter of recommendation to be submitted on the registration form
