Qin Wang is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the College of Business, Mississippi State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Marketing from the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, her M.S. in Marketing from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and her B.A. in Business Administration from Xi’an Jiao Tong University. Her research interests include cross-cultural consumer behavior, consumer identity, compensatory consumption, sustainable consumption, and consumer well-being. Her research has been published in the Journal of Consumer Psychology, Current Opinion in Psychology, and Psychology & Marketing. Her research has also earned the Honorable Mention 2019 Association for Consumer Research/Sheth Foundation Dissertation Award for Cross-Cultural Research, the 2020 Robert B. Cialdini Distinguished Research Award, the Kenneth A. Coney Research Excellence Award at Arizona State University, and the 2020-2021 Society for Consumer Psychology Schumann Dissertation Competition Award.
