MBA Venture Pathway (MVP)

The MBA Venture Pathway (MVP) offers exeptional incoming freshman pusuing majors outside the College of Business a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a hands-on education that provides an accelerated path to a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. The purpose of MVP is to provide motivated, high-acheiving business knowledge to be successful.

Beginning with fall of freshman year, MVP students will take a designated business class one evening per week through the Center of Entrepreneurship & Outreach (CEO) in McCool Hall. MVP students will also participate in the CEO's VentureCatalyst(tm) Program, which is designed to establish, real, operating businesses, with funding available for intial startup costs.

Acceptance into MVP is open by invitation only. A high school GPA of at least 3.5 and ACT of at least 28 is suggested to be competitive. Letters of reference from a successful entrepreneur or executive who can attestto the applicant's aptitude and motivation to complete teh program or evidence of starting a revenue-generating business while in high school, will also be considered for acceptance.
