Why did you choose to attend Mississippi State University?

The first time I ever visited MSU was a time that I will never forget. I got to spend time on campus, spend the night in a residence hall, and go to my very first Egg Bowl. It was very clear to me that MSU was a special place. When it came time to apply for college, there was only one place that I could imagine myself going, and that was Mississippi State. I could not imagine doing the last four years any differently, and the love I have for this university and this college is met by nothing else.

How did you select business as your major?

I was uncertain what I wanted to do when I came to college, so I was undeclared for my first semester. When I started thinking more about it, I knew that I wanted to be able to be a leader and make a difference in the world in more ways than one. Business was a broad enough field to consider because of how many different elements are a part of it. I chose management because it can be applied to any field that is out there. It was diverse and allowed me endless options and opportunities, which helps someone as indecisive as myself. Management also required that I take classes in the other fields of business, economics for example, that made me appreciative of the different fields and gave me a better understanding on how it is all integrated with one another.
